01: The Beginning

Planet Ambrosia... home of the Essence of Life in the Phantom Dimension.
Three gods nurtured the Essence: the God of Time, the God of the Living, and the Goddess of Nature.

The Essence governed the development of life. Because of this, Ambrosia flourished with diverse, beautiful inhabitants and plantlife.

But soon, a terrible creature would arrive with hopes of destroying all life on Ambrosia-- or at least altering it into something horrible. With him was his brother, and sealed inside of his brother was their sickly infant sister.

It waited for the perfect moment to strike the world, consuming whatever it could and taking on its shape, only a lot more vile and twisted than intended.

This caught the attention of the three gods, who proceeded to seal the creature away in the wasteland of the Isle of Fortune.

The world was free from the creature's gluttony, or so it seemed. The Goddess of Nature, having been partially affected by the creature's evil, would soon release it again against her will.

Chapter 1 of the Diamonian Lore! Elysia (the goddess shown in the image above) gets partially Corrupted by Nata's virus. :c

The image here was done on coffee-stained paper with copic markers and india ink. My light box broke when I tried to trace this, so I actually had to use the screen of my goddamn mac when I went to ink it. OTL
