Destiny the Malevolent is a hermit who constantly fights against the Corruption to keep the Life Stream balanced-- even if it means defying his superior. While it's true that he is a very angry devilgod, he actually isolates himself from the surface to keep his Venom levels from spiking. He even hides from his Guardians, commanding them from the other side of the door within his desolate chamber.

Fun fact: Destiny trained Luke, Gale, Ash, and Kitsu to use their weapons. He's actually the guy who's enabled the Corrupted to defy gravity, walking on ceilings and walls as if they were the floor. While a weapon master, he doesn't really fight unless provoked.
